These beautifully handknitted wristwarmers represent many hours of care, craftsmanship, and heritage — from the daily tending of our Scottish Cashmere goats to the meticulous hand knitting of every stitch by our local artisan knitter.

🐐 Scotland’s Only Cashmere-Producing Herd

Our herd of Scottish Cashmere goats grazes along the dramatic coastline of Lunan Bay — the only fibre-producing cashmere herd in Scotland and the entire UK. We farm regeneratively, working in harmony with the land, wildlife, and natural coastal environment.

🍃 Hand-Combed Scottish Cashmere, Harvested with Care

Each spring, we gently hand-comb the goats’ naturally-cast winter undercoats. A Cashmere goat produces, on average, just 100g of ultra-soft fibre per year, which is why Scottish Cashmere is so rare and highly valued.

🧶 Heritage Yarn Spun in Scotland

After harvesting, our Scottish Cashmere is dehaired and spun by The Border Mill, an artisan micro-mill in the Scottish Borders. Here, our fibre is blended with Native Shetland fleece to create a beautiful, small-batch heritage yarn with exceptional softness, warmth, and resilience.

🧵 Expertly Handknitted with Traditional Craft

Each pair of wristwarmers is handknitted on needles using our 5% Scottish Cashmere and 95% Native Shetland yarn. The intricate cable design is inspired by the fishing traditions of coastal communities including Ethie Haven, Auchmithie and Arbroath — a nod to the heritage of Scotland’s east coast.

Our yarn is completely natural and undyed, showcasing the raw beauty of Scottish fibre. Each pair is finished with our branded faux-leather label embossed with “Lunan Bay Scottish Cashmere”.

🔁 Refunds & Returns – Products

We accept returns and exchanges on eligible items within 30 days of delivery.

• Items must be returned unused, in original condition and packaging
• Buyers are responsible for return postage costs
• If items are returned damaged or not in original condition, the buyer may be responsible for any loss in value

Refunds are only offered if the event is cancelled, rescheduled or moved by the organiser.

We cannot offer refunds if:

• You change your mind
• You are no longer able to attend

Refunds are only available if requested more than 5 weeks before your booked farm tour date.

We may be able to offer an alternative date depending on availability — please contact us as early as possible if your plans change.
