Naturally dyed by sheep farmer and fibre enthusiast Julie Robertson, it reflects the natural white fleece of this native breed — ideal for garments, accessories, or colourwork bases.
Carmont Valley is a small sheep farm in near Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire, led by a passionate team committed to land stewardship, biodiversity, and ethical wool production. Their grass-fed flock of Llyen sheep (a hardy Welsh breed), produce fibre that’s full of life, bounce, and authenticity.

Home to a flock of 160 Lleyn sheep, the farm focuses on soil health, biodiversity, and ethical animal care. Julie’s commitment to wool extends from field to fibre — offering educational shearing and fleece workshops, and producing high-quality yarns from her flock’s softest young gimmers.
