PASTURE-FED LUNAN BAY GOAT MEAT

Our pasture-Fed Lunan Bay Goat Meat season runs from September to February. During this time, we can provide half and whole carcasses (along with associated offal), which can be butchered and dry aged to your specification.

We supply and deliver to restaurants, retailers and offer direct sales to home customers. New for 2020, our goat meat is available to pre-order and buy at retailer Clementine of Broughty Ferry in Dundee. We also deliver direct to homes in certain areas, so please get in touch to see if we deliver to your location. Collections of pre-orders from the farm can be pre-arranged.

We can supply intact carcasses, or butchered to primals or into smaller cuts and or mince and burgers, supplied fresh, labelled and vac-packed.

Due to the high demand of our goat meat, we encourage all new and existing customers to get in touch well in advance of our goat meat season to secure your order.

Lunan Bay Goat Meat Season 2020

To support our customers during this unprecedented year, we have reduced our prices this season by 10%.

We charge based on your allocated carcass weight (£/kg). Our carcasses can vary from 15-18kg. 

We can supply either whole or half carcasses, butchered into primals (legs/shoulder/saddle/flanks/offal) or butchered down further into small packs and/or mince/burgers. We also offer bespoke butchery (e.g whole carcass diced, minced or burgered).

Dates when our goat meat is next available:

Our season typically runs from Sep to Feb. This year 2021, we will have a limited quantity of our pasture fed goat meat in April too. Please email us to place your pre-order.

Whole Carcass

Our average whole carcass size = 16kg

A whole carcass can be supplied intact, or butchered into primals (supplied labelled, vac-packed & boxed) which include;

2 x Legs on the bone (approx. 2kg each)

1 x Whole Saddle (approx. 2.25kg)

2 x Shoulders on the bone (approx. 2.5kg each)

2 x Flanks (approx. 1kg each)

Plus offal (Liver, Heart, Kidneys, Lungs, Caulfat)*

*If you do not require offal, there is a £10 discount. Just let us know at time of ordering.

Extra Butchery, if you require smaller packs/cuts/processed to mince or burgers

Additional butchery can be provided with fresh cuts supplied labelled and vac-packed.

Typical standard butchery on our 16kg goat carcasses yields the following (approximately);

2 x Legs on the bone (approx. 1.2kg each, serves 4)

2 x Shoulder on the bone (approx. 2kg each, serves 5-6)

2 packs x 2 Shanks (total weight approx 800g, serves 2-4)

2 x French Trimmed Racks (approx. 400g each, serves 1-2)

4 packs x 2 Double Loin Chops (approx 240g per pack, serves 2-4)

2 packs x Diced Boneless (approx. 200g each)

4 packs x Mince** (250g per pack)

**Instead of mince, 8 x 125g Gourmet Goat Burgers can also be supplied using Angus & Oink natural seasonings (gluten free, no artificial flavourings or preservatives), just let us know at time of ordering if you’d like burgers instead of mince.

Half Carcass

Our typical half carcass size = 8kg

Half carcass can be supplied intact, or butchered into primals (supplied labelled, vac-packed & boxed) which include;

1 x Leg on the bone (approx 2kg)

Half Saddle (approx 1.1kg)

1 x Shoulder on the bone (approx 2.5kg)

1 x Flank (approx 1kg)

Plus offal (Liver, Kidney, Lung)*

*If you do not require offal, there is a £5 discount. Just let us know at time of ordering.

Extra Butchery

For additional butchery can be provided with cuts supplied labelled and vac-packed.

Typical standard butchery on our 8kg half goat carcasses yields the following (approximately);

1 x Leg on the bone (approx. 1.2kg, serves 4)

1 x Shoulder on the bone (approx. 2kg, serves 5-6)

1 pack x 2 Shanks, Front & Hind (approx. 500g pack, serves 1-2)

1 x French Trimmed Rack (approx. 400g, serves 1-2)

1 x Diced Boneless (approx. 200g each)

2 packs x 2 Double Loin Chops (approx 240g per pack, serves 2-4)

2 packs x Mince (250g per pack)**

**Instead of mince, 4 x 125g gourmet burgers can also be supplied using Angus & Oink natural seasonings (gluten free, no artificial flavourings or preservatives), just let us know at time of ordering if you’d like burgers instead of mince.
