Our Goat Therapy Retreat is a relaxed wellbeing experience centred around spending time with our gentle and inquisitive Cashmere goats in the beautiful surroundings of Lunan Bay.
It provides an opportunity to slow down, spend time outdoors, meet the herd and learn about our regenerative Scottish Cashmere project.
No. Our Goat Therapy Retreat is a recreational, nature-based wellbeing experience and is not a substitute for medical, psychological or other professional treatment.
You’ll spend relaxed time with our Cashmere goats, with opportunities to stroke and feed them, before discovering the story behind our regenerative Scottish Cashmere.
The retreat also includes time in our Yarn Barn, access to our Goat to Garment shop and refreshments with homemade cakes.
Our Goat Therapy Retreat lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
Not at all.
Our team will introduce you to the goats and explain how to interact with them safely and comfortably. You can participate at a level that feels comfortable for you.
Our Goat Therapy Retreats have primarily been designed for adults and teenagers looking for a relaxed wellbeing experience.
Families with younger children may find one of our Private Experiences or our annual Goats in Coats Festival more suitable.
Please dress for the Scottish weather. Comfortable outdoor clothing, layers, waterproofs and sensible footwear are recommended.
Our retreats normally continue in typical Scottish weather and we have covered areas which allow us to adapt activities if it rains.
On the very rare occasion that severe weather means it is unsafe for visitors or animals and we need to cancel, we will contact you and issue a full refund.
