We are located at, Lunan Bay Farm, on the South side of Lunan Bay next to Redcastle Ruin. We are NOT on the North side where the public car park is located. We are NOT located at Myreside Farm where we run our Goats in Coats festival.
There is a “Lunan Bay Farm” sign at our road end, a single track next to Redcastle Ruin.

If you travelling by train, our nearest bus station is Montrose on the East Coast line, and a taxi (01674 672557, 01674 676656) costing approx. £15 ,will take you 5 miles from Montrose to Lunan Bay Farm using link above.
If you are travelling by bicycle, the National Cycle Network 1 passes right by the farm. We can securely store any bicycles during the tour.
1. What is a goat therapy session?
A goat therapy session involves spending time with our gentle Cashmere goats. These rare animals have a naturally calming presence, which makes interacting with them a soothing and enjoyable experience. Experience stroking their incredibly soft Cashmere, feeding them their favourite treats and allowing their natural inquisitive behaviours to shine.
2. What will I learn during the Regenerative Scottish Cashmere talk?
You’ll gain insights into Lunan Bay Farm’s unique journey, from our dedication to regenerative farming practices to the production of our luxury Scottish Cashmere. Jillian, the farmer, will share stories and answer your questions about this innovative process.
3. What kind of items are available in the pop-up textiles shop?
Our pop-up shop features limited-edition Scottish Cashmere products and other unique textiles. These items are designed and produced with sustainability and craftsmanship at the heart of their creation. Local produce and other gifts will also available from our farm and other carefully curated producers from Angus.
4. Are dietary requirements accommodated for the coffee and cakes?
Yes, we can cater to a variety of dietary requirements, including gluten-free and vegan options. Please let us know any dietary allergies you have when booking.
5. How do I get to Lunan Bay Farm?

6. What happens if the weather is bad?
Our retreat is designed to be enjoyed rain or shine! All of the activities will be sheltered but we recommend dressing appropriately for the weather, too.
